Our Museum

At ground level, there is a small MUSEUM with exhibits concerning St. Thomas and the history of Santhome. Each exhibit is a accompanied by an explanatory plaque.

Santhome Cathedral Basilica maintains a museum that is a treasure house of great antiquity, which contains the lance head that pierced St.Thomas, a rare piece of his precious bone, a chair and a stone receptacle. There are also other Monograms, Persian Medallions, multilingual inscriptions, St.Thomas coins and paintings on canvas.

Above the museum is a mini Theatre meant for screening a short video on Saint Thomas and the Santhome Cathedral.
